It's been awhile since we stopped over Ontonagon way... where they've rolled out the white carpet to the sledders.  Looks like a good corner to open a hot pasty shack.  Anybody looking for a part time job ?

No tread marks yet out here in the woods.  Time to crank up the old groomers and rebuild our snowy freeways.

It's a wet, slushy snow in Calumet this morning.  A dedicated postal worker keeps the steps clear for all sending packages and Christmas cards.

In 2000, Pasty Central will offer some new options using Priority Mail as well as Airborne Express.

Tuesday, December 14

On the cutoff road between Dollar Bay and Houghton County Airport is another mode of transportation... with no concern about  y2k.

Sunny and bright today in the Copper Country, but cold enough for snow to remain near Mount Ripley.

Not much snow here in the northern half of the Keweenaw.  Did you see out the Pasty Cam's bedroom window in '98?  Here's the view looking up from below.
