The Pasty Cam
December 5 - 11, 1999
Saturday, December 11

Whoops... didn't finish that roof work before the white stuff came.  A not-so-typical residence in Jacobsville.

Love those old gas pumps.

After midnight this morning, the snow continued, and so did the night owl activity here in downtown Laurium....

Thursday, December 9

Snow returned to the U.P. late today.  With relatively warm temps, we wonder if it will last.

The Pasty Cam stumbled upon this lovely spot while walking in the woods today.  Hard to believe it's only 2 weeks until the first day of winter...

...looks more like late August.

Tuesday, December 7

Still no snow in the Keweenaw, although these clouds seem ominous.  This is the Eagle River Lighthouse, a private residence.

...and we have heard it is for sale.

Monday, December 6

Just above the machine gun on the stone boat in Kearsarge, Toivo and Eino hoist the Christmas colors.

We haven't seen much of these guys since their strike two summers ago.

Sunday, December 5

A true yooper girl, not so sure if she wants to stay here too long, but a good sport to wave for the Pasty Cam...

...which was updated 5 minutes before midnight, because the Pasty Elves were too busy packing Monday's orders :o)
