This year I am celebrating 13 years of business in Upper Michigan's beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula. My delicatessen began as a small takeout affair but quickly expanded to serve the increasing demand of the growing community of Houghton, Michigan. After a tragic fire destroyed the deli in 1995, I was able to rebuild the business with the help and encouragement of many friends and customers.
Customers ask why I chose to create a catalog rather than a cookbook. I have found the biggest challenge of my business is to reach more people with the quality foods that have made Marie's Deli so successful. I invite you to try my delicious homemade cheesecakes and pastries.      All my foods are made fresh for each order. All items except cheesecake will be shipped within 48 hours via UPS or FedEx two day service. I make cheesecake on Friday and Saturday, This allows the cheesecake to slowly and completely freeze over the weekend for shipment on Tuesday of each week. Other arrangements can be made at an additional charge. All cheesecake orders must be received by Thursday to be shipped the following Tuesday.
